Account setup and audit

A solid infrastructure for your ad accounts, owned by you.

We set up your Meta Business Portfolio, Google Ads and TikTok ad accounts in your business's name, with the right permission structure and measurement infrastructure. If you already have accounts, we audit them for ownership, permissions, measurement and campaign structure and provide a written report.

  • Ownership in the business's name
  • The right permission structure
  • Pixel and tag setup
  • Written audit report
In which cases?

If the infrastructure is not solid, the ads will not be either.

Many ad problems come not from the campaign but from how the account was set up. Setup and audit bring these problems to light before any ad budget is spent.

01

First-time advertisers

If you have no ad accounts at all, we set up Meta Business Portfolio, Google Ads and, if needed, TikTok accounts correctly from scratch in your business's name.

02

Agency or employee changes

If a previous agency or a departing employee still holds access to the accounts, we guide you through taking ownership back to your business and cleaning up permissions.

03

Those who do not trust their measurement

If the results in the ad dashboard do not match the leads you see, we test and fix the Pixel, Conversions API and Google tag setup.

04

Scattered account structure

If several ad accounts, pages and personal profiles are mixed together, we take an asset inventory and suggest a simple structure.

05

Those who want a second opinion

If an agency or a team manages your ads, we audit the campaign structure and spend allocation with an independent eye and prepare a report.

06

Those at risk of restriction

If you often get ad rejections, payment problems or policy warnings, we identify the account's risk points and suggest preventive steps.

Process

Scope

What we do and what we do not do.

This service is infrastructure work that comes before managing ads, and its goal is for the assets to end up entirely with you.

Included

  • Setting up Meta Business Portfolio, ad account and page connections
  • Google Ads account and Google Analytics connection
  • Setting up TikTok Business Center and ad account
  • Meta Pixel, Conversions API, Google tag and TikTok Pixel
  • Domain verification and event prioritization
  • Organizing user and partner permissions
  • Structure and spend audit of existing campaigns

What we don't do

  • We do not open accounts in the agency's name; all assets belong to your business
  • We do not ask for your password; you carry out the steps that require ownership
  • We do not reopen a restricted account by off-policy means or try to get around a restriction with a new account
  • We do not collect ad budget; the payment method is set up in your name
  • An audit is not a guarantee of campaign results
Do not get around a restriction with a new account

Trying to advertise by opening a new account or portfolio while an ad account is restricted can be seen by Meta and Google as an attempt to circumvent the rules and can lead to wider restrictions.

Guide

How should an ad account be set up, and when should it be audited?

Ad account setup and audit means creating a business's ad assets on Meta, Google and TikTok in the business's name, with the right permission structure and a working measurement infrastructure, or reviewing existing accounts in these respects. It is infrastructure work that comes before campaign management. Its aim is to make sure the ad budget is spent on a solid, measurable foundation that belongs to the business.

Why is setup so important?

Ad accounts are often opened in a hurry: from an employee's personal profile, from an agency's own portfolio or automatically through the boost post button. At first the problem is not visible. But when the employee leaves, the agency changes or a restriction hits the account, the business may lose access to its own ad history, audiences and even its page. In a proper setup, all assets are held in the business's own Meta Business Portfolio and its own Google account; agencies and employees access them only by permission.

A properly built structure and payment arrangement

  • Meta Business Portfolio: Bringing the Facebook Page, Instagram account, ad account, pixel and catalog together under a single business structure.
  • Google Ads and Analytics: The ad account, the Google Analytics property and the link between them, under a Google account owned by the business.
  • TikTok Business Center: A structure in which the TikTok ad account and pixel are managed in the business's name.
  • Measurement: Meta Pixel and Conversions API, Google tag and conversion actions, TikTok Pixel and events.
  • Security: Two-step verification for administrators, at least two trusted administrators and the removal of unnecessary access.

One point to watch in measurement setup is cookie consent and personal data. The cookie notice on your website and the way the pixels and tags operate must be consistent, and the data collected must be processed in line with personal data protection regulations. Double counting, such as the same event being sent twice by both the pixel and a plugin, causes the ad dashboard to show more results than there really are; after setup, we check this with test events.

The payment method of the ad account should belong to the business and the billing information should be entered in the business's name. This way, ad spend is made directly to the platform and Meta, Google or TikTok issues the invoice to your business. If you work with an agency, the agency fee is a service charge separate from this spend. During setup, you carry out the steps that require ownership, such as creating the portfolio or adding the payment method, with your own login; we guide you through screen sharing. Afterward, you add us as a partner and you do not need to share a password.

What is looked at in an ad account audit?

When auditing an existing account, we look first at ownership and permissions, then at measurement and finally at campaign structure. This order matters, because if measurement is wrong, campaign data is misread too. The main questions we seek answers to in the audit are:

  1. Do all assets belong to the business, or are they in a person's or an agency's portfolio?
  2. Who has access to the accounts and with what permission, and is this access still needed?
  3. Are the pixels and tags recording the right events on the right pages, and is there double counting?
  4. Is the campaign structure split more than the budget justifies?
  5. How much of the spend goes to irrelevant searches or low-quality placements?
  6. Do rejected ads and policy warnings show a pattern of risk?

In the audit report, we write each finding together with its risk level: items to fix immediately, items that can be handled in the short term and improvement recommendations. This way the report is more than a list of findings; it becomes a to-do list that your team or the person managing your ads can act on. If you would like us to make the fixes, we can plan that separately.

Policies and risk of restriction

Meta and Google monitor ad accounts for both content and behavior. Frequently rejected ads, failed payments, suspicious logins and new accounts linked to a restricted account are risk signals. Advertising by opening a new account while an account is restricted can be considered an attempt to circumvent the rules. For this reason, in the audit we identify these signals and suggest preventive steps, and if a restriction has occurred, we point to the official review channels. For businesses operating in healthcare, we also remind you at the setup stage that an informative tone must be used under Turkish regulations, along with the restricted targeting rules in this area.

When should an audit be done?

An audit is useful when the agency or the person running the ads changes, when the website is renewed, when you do not trust the measurement results, when you receive frequent ad rejections or when you think no one has looked at the account as a whole for a long time. An audit alone does not guarantee results; but it makes visible where the spend is going and what risks exist. Repeating the audit at set intervals is also a practical way to notice early the unnecessary access that accumulates over time and measurement that has broken.

On-site and online work

For businesses in Sakarya and the surrounding area, we can carry out the setup at the same table as the business owner, completing the ownership steps together. Across Turkey, setup and audit run online through screen sharing; the report is delivered in writing.

For businesses with several branches or more than one brand, we plan the portfolio structure so that each brand's and branch's assets can be managed separately, and we clarify from the start who will have access to which asset.

Note: The interfaces and menu names of Meta Business Portfolio, Google Ads and TikTok change often. During setup, we always guide you according to the current screens.

Good to know.

What is Meta Business Portfolio, and why is it needed?
Meta Business Portfolio is the tool that lets a business manage its Facebook Page, Instagram account, ad accounts and pixel in one place. It ensures that assets belong to the business rather than to personal profiles and that agencies are given access without passwords.
Should the agency open my ad account, or should I?
The owner of the account should always be the business. We guide the setup, but you carry out ownership steps, such as creating the portfolio and adding the payment method, with your own login. Afterward, you add us as a partner.
My previous agency will not give up its access to my account; what can I do?
If the assets are in your portfolio, you can remove the agency's access yourself. If the assets are in the agency's portfolio, ownership needs to be transferred to you. We review the situation and explain step by step the official route to follow and what you need to prepare.
How long does an ad account audit take?
The time varies with the number of accounts, campaign history and measurement infrastructure. A business with a single Meta and Google account and a structure with many accounts are not reviewed in the same time. In the initial meeting, we clarify the scope and give you a timeline.
Why are the pixel and the Conversions API set up together?
The pixel sends data to Meta from the visitor's browser, while the Conversions API sends it directly from the server. Events that the pixel misses because of browser restrictions and ad blockers can be measured more reliably with the Conversions API.
Can you reopen my restricted ad account?
The decision to lift a restriction belongs to Meta or Google, and no result can be guaranteed. In the audit we identify the risks and point to the official review channels. For detailed appeal support, our ad account restriction consulting service is suitable.
