In which situations?

If the profile exists but nobody looks after it, the customer meets wrong information.

A business that appears closed, a wrong phone number or an unanswered complaint sends the customer to a competitor. These are the situations we meet most often.

01

The profile was never created

If your business is not on the map or an incomplete listing opened by someone else appears, we set up the profile and carry out the verification process with you.

02

Someone else owns it

If a former employee or a previous agency owns the profile, we guide you through Google's ownership request flow so the business regains access.

03

Suspended profile

For profiles suspended on suspicion of a rule violation, we identify the cause, fix the gaps and prepare a reinstatement request to Google.

04

Unwanted edits

Changes suggested by users or by Google can corrupt your details. We check the profile regularly and correct wrong edits.

05

Unanswered reviews

We write personal, calm replies in your business's voice to accumulated reviews, and set up a solution-focused tone for complaints.

06

Holidays and special days

We update holiday, seasonal and special-day hours on time; customers do not meet a closed door.

Process

A profile is not a listing to be set up once and left. After the first adjustments, upkeep turns into a monthly routine.

Guide

How is a Google Business Profile managed?

Google Business Profile, formerly Google My Business, is a free listing that shows a business's name, address, opening hours, photos and customer reviews in Google Search and Google Maps. Profile management is the work of verifying this listing, keeping it complete and updating it regularly.

Why is the profile so important?

Many customers meet your business for the first time not on your website but on this card that appears in search. The phone number, directions, opening hours and reviews are visible at a glance; most people make the call or the visit from this card without ever entering the site. If the details in the profile are wrong or missing, the customer may give up on contacting you. In addition, AI-assisted assistants can draw on profile data of this kind when making local recommendations; correct details matter in these channels too.

How does the verification process work?

Google asks for verification to be sure the profile really belongs to that business. The verification method is determined by Google according to business type and region; options such as video verification, or a code by phone, email or post, may be offered. In video verification, the signage, the inside of the business and a document or piece of equipment belonging to the business are usually expected to be shown in a single take. You do this step from your account, with your device; we prepare in advance which footage is needed. In and around Sakarya we can also support this shoot on site.

What a complete profile needs

  • The right primary category: One of the fields that most affects which searches the profile appears in. The category that describes your work most narrowly and correctly should be chosen.
  • The real business name: The name you use on the signage, invoices and official documents. Adding a city or service name to the name goes against the rules.
  • Consistent contact details: The same phone and address used on your site and in other listings.
  • Current hours: Holiday and special-day hours alongside regular hours.
  • Services and products: Short, unexaggerated descriptions of what you offer.
  • Real photos: Images added regularly of the exterior, interior, team and work; your own shots instead of stock photos.

When a profile is filled in once and left, it ages over time. Photos uploaded by customers can overtake yours, Google may change some information on its own based on user suggestions, and a disconnected phone line can stay on the profile for a long time. Regular upkeep covers adding new photos, sharing informative posts, keeping service and product cards current and checking suggested edits. In posts we prefer informative subjects such as a new service, changed opening hours or news from the business rather than prices or discounts.

How should reviews be answered?

Replying to every review, positive or negative, shows both the customer and new visitors reading the profile that you are an attentive business. Thank-you replies should be short and personal; copying the same template sentence to every review looks insincere. With negative reviews, instead of getting defensive, a calm language is used that acknowledges the problem and takes the solution to a private channel. We never reveal the customer's personal information or sensitive subjects such as health in a reply. Because replies are written in the business's name, we prepare a short reply guide that reflects your style, and for sensitive complaints we share the reply with you before publishing. Responding to reviews within a reasonable time shows both the customer who had the problem and the others who read it that the business cares.

Fake reviews, rule violations and suspension

Google's rules clearly forbid reviews not based on a real experience, reviews written by the business owner or employees, reviews requested in return for something, and picking only satisfied customers while keeping others away from reviewing. When these rules are violated, reviews can be deleted, new review intake can be temporarily stopped and a warning can be shown to visitors on the profile. The right way is to ask the genuine customers you serve for reviews. For this it is enough to use the profile's own review link and QR code and send a short request message after payment or delivery. Reviews you think break the rules can be reported through Google's reporting tool; Google decides whether they are removed.

A profile suspension usually happens when something against the rules is seen in the name, address or category details, or when suspicious edits are made. The first step is to bring the profile into line with the rules and prepare the documents that prove the business is real. Then Google's reinstatement form is used. Google decides the outcome; we make sure the application is complete and consistent.

On-site and online management

Most of profile management runs online. It is enough for you to add us to your profile as a manager; ownership always stays with the business and you can remove our access at any time. For businesses in and around Sakarya we can work on site for things like venue photos, the verification video or a signage check. For businesses across Turkey we run the same process remotely.

At the end of each month we share a short summary showing how many times the profile was viewed, how many people called, asked for directions or went to your website. These indicators are the most concrete way to understand whether the profile really brings customers to your business, and they help us set the priorities for the next month.

Note: Google changes profile features and verification methods from time to time. That is why we always plan our work according to Google's current help documents and rules.
Frequently asked questions

Good to know.

Can't find your answer? Message us on WhatsApp; online support is open 24/7.

Is Google Business Profile paid?
No, Google Business Profile is free. A fee arises only when you have an agency do things like profile setup, regular upkeep and review management; Google itself does not charge for the listing.
Can you get a bad review deleted?
We cannot promise to have a negative review left by a genuine customer deleted. If a review violates Google's rules, for example if it contains insults or was written by someone who is not a customer, we report it through the reporting tool; Google makes the decision. For genuine reviews the healthiest way is a calm, solution-focused reply.
Will you become the owner of my profile?
No. The owner of the profile is always your business's Google account. We are added only as managers, and you can remove our access when the work is done or at any time you wish.
The verification code does not arrive; what should I do?
Google now asks many businesses to verify by video or other methods instead of post. We check together which method is offered and, if needed, prepare in advance which footage must be shot for video verification.
Does adding a city or service name to the business name raise ranking?
This method goes against Google's rules and can lead to the profile being suspended. The business name must be the real name you use on the signage and in official documents.
How often should the profile be updated?
Details should be updated the moment they change; a regular routine is enough for photos and posts. The profile also needs to be checked at intervals for edits suggested by users or Google.
