Trade fairs and stands

Let us design a stand that stands out from the aisle.

At trade fairs and events, a visitor decides whether to head to your stand within a few steps. We prepare the stand concept, 3D visualization and all print materials in the same brand language, and coordinate setup at events in Sakarya and the surrounding area.

When does it fit?

When you need to stand out in a crowded hall.

A trade fair is an environment where a visitor sees many brands in a short time. As much as the size of the stand, what it says and how it welcomes visitors matter.

01

Industry fairs

For fairs attended by manufacturers and suppliers, we prepare stand concepts that clearly present your product range, production capability and contact point.

02

First-time exhibitors

For companies with no fair experience, we plan together what is needed, from the floor-space size to the material list.

03

Those using a ready-made stand

On the ready-made modular stands provided by the organizer, we adapt the stand to your brand with wraps and print files that fit the panel dimensions.

04

Congress and event venues

For congresses, summits and corporate events, we prepare designs for sponsor areas, welcome desks and photo walls.

05

Shopping mall and in-store activations

For promotional stands and trial points set up in shopping malls, we build an eye-catching but plain design language.

06

Career and education fairs

For school, course and career fairs, we plan stand designs that present your institution and are integrated with brochures and roll-ups.

Process

A process planned backward from the fair calendar.

The date of the fair does not change; so we plan backward from fair day and put the organizer's deadlines at the center of the schedule.

Scope

What we do and what we do not.

In fair participation, the organizer, the stand builder and the brand carry different responsibilities; we state our share clearly.

Included

  • Stand concept and layout plan
  • 3D stand visualization
  • Wrap design for ready-made modular stands
  • Print files for backdrops, roll-ups, counters and panels
  • Fair materials such as brochures, catalogs and business cards
  • Design check against the organizer's specification
  • Setup coordination and on-site check in Sakarya and the surrounding area

What we don't do

  • We do not rent fair space or file the participation application on your behalf
  • We do not propose designs that contradict the organizer's specification
  • We do not promise that a certain number of visitors or sales will be obtained from the fair
  • We do not have electrical and technical connections made by anyone other than the organizer's authorized teams
Do not miss the organizer's deadlines

Fair organizers set their own dates for stand project approval, electricity requests and setup. When these dates are missed, installation may not be possible even if the design is ready; we recommend sharing the technical specification with us as soon as you receive it.

Guide

What should be considered when designing a fair stand?

Trade fair and stand design means planning the space allotted to a brand at a fair, congress or event venue in terms of layout, visual language, product display and visitor welcome, and turning this plan into print and setup files. A good stand tells a visitor passing along the aisle who the brand is and what it offers within a few seconds.

Types of fair stands

The scope of the design varies with the type of stand to be used:

  • Ready-made modular stand: Made up of standard panels provided by the organizer. The design is limited to wraps suited to the panel dimensions, the fascia text and the counter surface; used correctly, it gives a plain but effective result.
  • Custom-designed stand: A type in which empty floor space is rented and the stand is produced entirely for the brand. Layout, height, material and lighting can be planned freely; however, compliance with the organizer's rules is mandatory.
  • Portable systems: Easy-to-set-up products such as roll-ups, pop-up displays, folding counters and feather flags. Suitable for small events, shopping mall activations and stand needs that move often.

Which type to choose depends on the importance of the fair, how many times the stand will be used and the preparation time. For a company that attends one large fair a year, a custom-designed stand may make sense, while for a brand that attends small events in different cities throughout the year, a portable and reusable system may be more practical.

What is the stand's job?

At a fair, a visitor passes dozens of stands quickly along an aisle. So the stand's first job is to tell, in a single sentence from a distance, who the brand is and what you do. The logo and a short value proposition should sit above eye level and at a point visible from the aisle. The inside of the stand is the second stage: the part where products are displayed, visitors are spoken to and contact details are collected.

A common mistake is to fill every surface of the stand with text. Long lists of services make the stand look crowded instead of attracting the visitor's interest. Detailed information can be left to a brochure, a catalog or a web page opened by a QR code.

Lighting also directly affects the stand's visibility. The general lighting of fair halls is often insufficient or uneven; lighting directed at the logo, the products and the back wall makes the stand more noticeable from the aisle. When planning lighting, the organizer's electrical rules should also be kept in mind.

Layout and visitor flow

The open sides of the stand, that is, its edges facing the aisle, determine the layout. On a stand with one open side, the back wall is the strongest visual area; on corner or island stands, since visitors may come from different directions, a layout visible from every angle is needed. Making sure the welcome counter does not block the entrance, products are displayed within touching distance and a small meeting corner is left where the team can talk comfortably makes the stand easier to use.

Storage is also often forgotten. Planning an enclosed area, however small, for brochure boxes, samples, personal items and refreshments keeps the stand looking tidy throughout the day.

Why is the technical specification important?

Every fair organizer has a technical specification. This document contains the stand height limit, rules for hanging from the ceiling, how walls facing the neighboring stand are to be covered, how to request electricity, material rules related to fire safety and deadlines for project approval. These rules vary from fair to fair. Starting the design without reading the specification can lead to the project being redrawn later or to problems on setup day. For this reason, the first thing we do is review the specification and build the design within these rules.

How do we work on site and online?

At fairs, congresses and events in Sakarya and the surrounding area, we plan setup day, check the stand on site and make sure the print materials are placed correctly. We can give the same on-site support for shopping mall activations and local events.

For fairs held in other cities in Turkey, we prepare the stand concept, 3D visuals and all print files online. In this case we deliver the files according to the technical requirements of the stand builder and print shop that you or the organizer work with; setup proceeds under that company's responsibility.

In online work, the most critical matter is that the dimensions and technical settings of the files match the installer's expectations exactly. For this reason, we obtain the panel dimensions, print material, bleed allowances and file format from the installer in writing, and deliver each file with a clear name indicating which surface it belongs to. When we cannot be on site on setup day, we remain reachable online to answer questions.

Pre-fair checklist

  1. Confirm the stand size, location and number of open sides with the organizer.
  2. Obtain the technical specification and all deadlines.
  3. Clarify the product or service you want to highlight at the fair.
  4. Determine your need for brochures, catalogs, business cards and promotional items early.
  5. Plan details such as clothing and name badges for the team that will work at the stand.
  6. Think in advance about how you will contact visitors after the fair.

How many visitors or business contacts you gain from a fair depends on the fair itself, the sector and the team's communication at the stand; design alone does not determine this. The contribution of design is to make the stand noticed and to help visitors understand your brand easily.

Note: When designing roll-ups, backdrops and portable materials that can be used after the fair, keeping fair-specific dates and information separate makes it easier to reuse the same materials at later events.
Frequently asked questions

Good to know.

Can't find your answer? Message us on WhatsApp; online support is open 24/7.

When should fair stand design start?
It should start well before the organizer's project approval and delivery dates. Because design, revisions, printing and setup take time, we recommend contacting us as soon as the fair date is confirmed and you have received the technical specification.
Do you also design for a ready-made stand?
Yes. For the modular stands provided by the organizer, we prepare wraps suited to the panel dimensions, fascia text and counter surface designs. A well-planned ready-made stand can look as tidy and on-brand as a custom stand.
Why is a 3D stand visual needed?
A 3D visual lets you see how the stand will look in the fair space before production. Layout, proportions and colors are assessed at this stage; many organizers also request a visual or drawing for project approval.
Do you set up the fair stand?
For events in Sakarya and the surrounding area, we coordinate the setup process and check the stand on site. In other cities, we prepare the design and print files online and deliver them to your setup company; setup proceeds under that company's responsibility.
Do you also prepare materials such as roll-ups and brochures?
Yes. We design fair materials such as backdrops, roll-ups, counter surfaces, brochures, catalogs and business cards in the same visual language as the stand concept. That way, every element at the stand looks like it belongs to the same brand.
Do you handle fair space rental or the application?
No. The fair participation application and space rental are made between you and the organizer. After the application, we take on the design and installation part according to the space allotted to you and the organizer's specification.
