Logo design

A logo that explains your brand at a single glance.

We study your industry, competitors and target audience, then design a logo made just for you from scratch. It stays legible from a small profile picture to a shop sign, and arrives with the files you need to start using it right away.

  • Original drawing from scratch
  • Vector source files
  • Color codes included
  • On site and online
Who is it for?

For new businesses and for those ready to refresh.

The need for a logo arises in different situations. Where you stand determines where the process starts and how much research is needed.

01

Newly founded businesses

Having the logo ready before the sign, business cards and social media account are created removes the cost of changes later on.

02

Those who want to renew their logo

For logos that have aged over the years, look blurry online or whose source file has been lost, we develop a modern interpretation while preserving recognition.

03

Local shops and tradespeople

For cafes, hairdressers, auto repair shops or stores, we aim for a simple, memorable mark that can be read from a distance on the sign.

04

Manufacturers and industrial companies

We build a trustworthy logo that holds up consistently on products, packaging, vehicles and trade fair stands, and also works in a single color.

05

Freelancers and personal brands

For personal brands such as lawyers, architects, trainers or consultants, we design a restrained logotype or monogram that suits the name.

06

Those who want to be visible online

We prepare simplified variations that remain distinguishable even in small spaces such as profile pictures, app icons and favicons.

Process

Brief, concept, revisions and delivery.

Before designing, we take time to get to know you and your market. We do not move to the next stage without your approval at each step.

  3. 03

    Concept presentation

We show logo proposals developed with different approaches on real usage examples, such as a sign and a profile image.

Scope

What we do and what we do not do.

In logo design, expectations are shaped most by file delivery and trademark registration, so we state both clearly from the start.

Included

  • Review of industry and competitor logos
  • Logo concepts drawn from scratch, made just for you
  • Horizontal, vertical and icon (symbol) variations
  • Color, single-color, black and white (negative) versions
  • Vector source files in AI, SVG, PDF and EPS formats
  • PNG outputs with transparent background and JPG outputs for the web
  • HEX, RGB, CMYK and, where appropriate, Pantone color codes
  • A short usage guide covering minimum size, clear space and examples of incorrect use

What we don't do

  • We do not use ready-made templates, stock logos or adaptations of another brand
  • We do not file the TÜRKPATENT trademark application; the application is the responsibility of you or your trademark attorney
  • We do not provide legal advice and do not promise that a registration will be granted
  • We do not purchase licenses for paid fonts on your behalf; if a license is needed, we tell you in advance
  • We do not include a comprehensive corporate identity set in the logo service; we offer it as a separate service
Registration is a separate process

A logo being drawn originally does not mean it will be registered as a trademark. Before design begins, we recommend running a preliminary search for the name in the TÜRKPATENT database and, if necessary, consulting a trademark attorney.

Guide

What you need to know before having a logo made

Logo design is the work of turning a brand's name and character into a mark that is recognized at a glance. A good logo does not just look nice; it carries the same identity on a sign, a business card, packaging and a small profile picture. At Sova Ajans we draw logos from scratch and deliver them with vector source files and a usage guide.

Logo types: which one suits you?

Logos generally fall into a few main structures. The choice depends on the length of your brand name, your industry and where the logo will appear most often.

  • Logotype (wordmark): The brand name displayed in a specially arranged lettering. It works well for short, memorable names.
  • Monogram: A mark made of initials. It suits companies with long names and personal brands.
  • Symbol or emblem: A figure independent of the name. Being recognized on its own takes time and consistent use, so it is often used together with text.
  • Combination logo: A structure where the symbol and text appear together. It is the most flexible option for local businesses; when space is tight, the symbol can be used alone.

We decide together in the briefing meeting which structure is right. For example, if a long company name would appear small on a sign, a monogram or symbol-led structure may stand out; for a new brand that is not yet known, a logotype in which the name is clearly legible is a safer starting point.

What makes a good logo?

A logo's success is determined by functional criteria rather than personal taste. During the design process we look for answers to these questions:

  1. Is it scalable? It should be legible both as a small icon on a phone screen and on a sign on a building facade.
  2. Does it work in a single color? The logo should not get lost on fax paper, stamps, laser engraving or single-color printing.
  3. Is it distinctive? It should not be confused with competitors in the same industry and should avoid the most common clichés of the sector.
  4. Is it timeless? Logos that lean too heavily on passing design trends soon look dated.
  5. Does it fit the brand? The typeface, color and rhythm of a children's play area and a law firm should not be the same.

In the concept presentation we show these criteria not in the abstract but by placing the logo in real usage examples. Seeing how a design looks on a sign, a business card, a vehicle and a phone screen makes it easier to decide.

Originality, copyright and trademark registration

We draw our logos from scratch, not from ready-made templates, stock illustrations or AI-generated images. This is the basic step needed to make sure a design is not a copy of another work. However, an original drawing alone does not mean trademark registration.

In Turkey, trademark registration is handled through TÜRKPATENT (the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office). The business owner files the application personally or through an authorized trademark attorney. Sova Ajans does not provide legal advice and cannot promise that an application will be accepted. What we can do is avoid similar-looking logos during design and prepare the clean logo files you will need for the application. Having your brand name searched in TÜRKPATENT's online database before design begins reduces the risk of having to change the name later.

If paid typefaces are to be used, we inform you of the license terms during the design stage. Preferring fonts that are open to commercial use is important to avoid problems later.

Logos generated with AI tools can give a quick idea, but the originality and usage rights of such images are not always clear; similar outputs may have been generated for other users as well. For this reason we treat such tools only as a reference at the idea stage and draw the final logo by hand as vectors.

Files you receive

A logo is not just an image but a set of files to be used in different environments. On delivery you receive the following:

  • Vector files: AI, SVG, PDF and EPS. Printers, sign makers and web developers work with these files without any loss of quality.
  • PNG and JPG outputs: PNGs with a transparent background for social media, presentations and email signatures; JPGs for quick sharing.
  • Variations: Horizontal, vertical, symbol-only, color, single-color and negative versions.
  • Color codes: HEX and RGB for screens, CMYK for print, and Pantone equivalents when needed.
  • Short usage guide: Minimum size, the clear space to leave around the logo, and examples of what not to do.

On-site and online work

With businesses in Sakarya and the surrounding area, we can hold the briefing meeting in person and see the place where the logo will be used, the sign location and the products on site. With clients in other cities in Turkey, we run the same process through video calls and written feedback; presentations and files are shared online.

Whichever way we work, what we expect from you is the same: information briefly describing your business, examples you like if any, and the decision maker taking part in the process. The timeline depends on the number of concepts and how quickly feedback arrives; we set the schedule together at the quote stage.

Common mistakes in the logo process

  • Evaluating the logo only at a large size on screen, without checking how it looks small and in a single color.
  • Collecting feedback separately from many people and pulling the design in every direction. Identifying the decision maker from the start speeds up the process.
  • Settling for a JPG without receiving the source file. In that case the logo has to be redrawn at the sign or print stage.
  • Citing a competitor's logo as an example and asking for something similar. Similarity both reduces distinctiveness and can cause problems at the registration stage.
  • Ordering signs and printing without checking the name.
  • Evaluating the logo only on a white background. How it looks on a dark background, on a photo and on colored packaging should also be checked from the start.
Note: Once your logo is ready, you can continue with a corporate identity project to keep consistency across business cards, social media templates and signage.

What kinds of files are delivered in logo design?
We deliver vector files in AI, SVG, PDF and EPS formats, along with PNG and JPG outputs with transparent background. These come with color, single-color and negative variations, HEX, RGB and CMYK color codes and a short usage guide.
Do you register my logo with TÜRKPATENT for me?
No. The business owner files the trademark application personally or through a trademark attorney. We do not provide legal advice; we prepare the clean logo files needed for the application and avoid similar-looking logos in the design.
Is the designed logo original, or do you use ready-made templates?
We draw logos from scratch; we do not use ready-made templates, stock illustrations or adaptations of another brand. Before designing, we review the logos in the industry to avoid looking similar.
How many revisions do I get?
We clarify the scope of revisions in writing at the quote stage. Giving feedback in one batch and from a single decision maker helps revisions move more efficiently.
Can you refresh my existing logo?
Yes. We can simplify, redraw or convert your existing logo to vector while keeping its recognizable elements. We also turn logos whose source file is lost into clean vector files.
I am out of town; can I have a logo designed online?
Yes. The briefing, concept presentation and revisions are carried out through video calls and written feedback, and all files are delivered online. In Sakarya and the surrounding area we also work face to face if you wish.
